Recommended way of restricting action permissions?
Hi, I just have a "best practices" question. I''d like to block users
that don''t own a particular resource from performing edit/update/

## User has many resources, of different types
------- resource_controller.rb -------
before_filter :require_ownership, :only => [:edit, :update, :destroy]

cookies are mandatory for Rails app?
is it true that Rails depend on cookies? It seems that flash is a part
of session, and session uses cookies... so when i disable cookie in
Firefox, what was working became
ActionController::InvalidAuthenticityToken
so is it true that for a RoR app to work, cookies are mandatory?

with attachments which I have not opened either (especially figuring that

Failed to set gid privileges error in Mac OS X 10.1.5
I am trying to log into a share on Mac OS X 10.1.5 running Samba 3.0.0 (ran
"sudo ./configure" and "gnumake" and "sudo gnumake install"). I have set up
smb.conf through Webmin and SWAT. Windows NT 4.0 sp6a sees the server. I can
open the server through Network Neighborhood and see my share (Projects) and
the Printers share. However, when I try to open the share WinNT
