[OSSTest PATCH 0/2] MegaRAID SAS support and RebootTimeExtra documentation
...ing the Linux modules for MegaRAID SAS, needed for
the ultralisk machine in the Cambridge lab. The second adds an entry in the
README file about the RebootTimeExtra host property, which I also needed to use
for ulttralisk, as scrubbing 368GB of RAM really takes a lot!

Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks and Regards,
Dario

Re: [Fedora-xen] Call for Participation to the Fedora Virt Test Day
...Fedora-Xen LiveCD.
I just finished cooking it, tested it, and it seems to be working!
If you decide to try it, it will bring you into a Fedora 18 Beta TC6
Dom0, with Xen 4.2.0 as hypervisor (as per F18 updates-testing
repository).
I''m putting it here [*]:
http://xenbits.xen.org/people/dariof/Live/Fedora/Virt-TestDay-Xen.iso
Go download it and enjoy being able to start creating VMs with Xen on
Fedora without the need to install anything!!
Feel free to report to me (dario.faggioli@citrix.com) anything you think
could be related to the LiveCD itself (rather than other kind of bugs,

Testing Xen on Fedora 20...
...During today's Fedora 20 Virtualization Test Day:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2013-10-08_Virtualization
In case anyone is interested, come on #fedora-test-day (on freenode),
and feel free to look for and ping me (I'm dariof).
I've updated this page with the most current information:
http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Fedora_Test_Days
Notice that Fedora 20 will be one of the first mainstream distros
shipping Xen 4.3... Let's do all we can for it to work great for
all Fedora users!! :-D
Thanks and Regards,
Dario

[PATCH v2 0/5] xl: allow for node-wise specification of vcpu pinning
Hi all,
This is the second take of a patch that I submitted some time ago for allowing
specifying vcpu pinning taking NUMA nodes into account. IOW, something like
this:
* "nodes:0-3": all pCPUs of nodes 0,1,2,3;
* "nodes:0-3,^node:2": all pCPUS of nodes 0,1,3;
* "1,nodes:1-2,^6": pCPU 1 plus all pCPUs of nodes 1,2
but not pCPU 6;
v1 was a single patch, this is

Preferred method of provisioning VM images
Hi all,
following the discussion on about documentation, I was wondering whether
we need to look at a standard way in which we recommend how to provision
images for VMs. Am starting this with a Xen hat, but the discussion
should not be specific to this. There are a number of options, but all
have some trade-offs
== #1 virt-install ==
Advantages: similar to KVM
Disadvantages: may cause
