unexpected behaviour of isSymmetric() (PR#14000)
Full_Name: Mike Danilov
Version: 2.9.0
OS: Fedora Core 9
Submission from: (NULL) (142.103.121.198)
When checking for the symmetry of a matrix, function isSymmetric.matrix() gets
confused by the discrepancy of colnames/rownames if its argument. See the code
snippet below. Perhaps it's a problem of the matrix product...

->journal_info sharing
Hello, Stephen,
It seem that in the presence of several jornalling file systems in the
kernel some mechanism is needed for proper sharing of the ->journal_info
pointer in the task_struct.
One journalled file system can indirectly call another during page fault
in copy_from_user, quota file modification, or
__alloc_pages()->balance_classzone()->shrink_cache()->vm_writeback()

How to enable OPUS inband FEC
...The problem is that I feel no difference in audio quality.
Regardless of the actual packet loss rate (whether it is low - below 1% or high ~20%).
We test by streaming a wav file that plays a constant ton and can hear audio ticks with and without FEC enabled.
Any ideas?

[Fwd: Re: WBC subcomponents.]
...kdowns it is important to identify what interfaces are
offered and used by the components (this is the static aspect of the
interface). It is also useful to make interaction diagrams showing how
the components use each other to execute use cases (this is the dynamic
aspect).

storing SOM epoch in EA
Good day,
some time ago we discussed that it would be very helpful to
store epoch in inode on mds. the perfect solution could be
to store epoch in old inode body, but there is no much space
for this in the body and with DMU we''ll have this problem
again.
given the minimal inode size we use on MDS is 512 bytes, we
can store upto 13 stripes in the body. larger EAs go to a
dedicated block.

architecture: "windows" reintegration/recovery
Hello,
first a bit of clarification: this message is probably missing important
context for a regular lustre-discuss@ reader, and moreover, discusses
some ideas that were introduced only very recently and are documented
nowhere. "Windows" in the following bear no relation to the certain
software platform. :-)
