Dahdi and Junghanns QuadBRI
...es.asterisk.org/view.php?id=13897) with a Junghanns QuadBRI. 1. Do I still need qozap driver ? If positive, how is it recommended to get it ? 2. Which line should be included in /etc/dahdi/modules to have the appropriate driver loaded ? 3. The process I'm planning to use is : A- Hand edit /etc/dadhi/modules, /etc/dadhi/genconf_parameters and /etc/asterisk/chan_dadhi.conf. B- Use dahdi_genconf to generate /etc/dadhi/system.conf and /etc/asterisk/dadhi_channels.conf. Any suggestion ? Regards -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Detect incoming fax on PSTN and route to fax machine on DADHI extension?
I'm running an AsteriskNow V1.7.1 with both a PSTN connection and fax machine. Both are connected to a DAHDI board. I'd like to route incoming PSTN fax calls to the extension of the fax machine and process non-fax calls through different dialplan.logic. What's the best way to go about doing this? I've looked into Fax for Asterisk, bit I'm not sure that I want it or NVFax

Has anyone experimented with increasing the DAHDI chunk size in improve fax reliability? If so, did it help, hurt, or not make any difference?

Dahdi and ztdummy
Hi, I need to run ztdummy for Paging, but now that this is all become dahdi I don`t really know where to start. I did build dahdi before building asterisk, but that`s it. I find it hard to find any documentation referring to dadhi instead of zaptel. I have no Digium hardware, but I still need the ztdummy timer (or whatever it`s called now). How do I get myself going? asterisk core dumped after UBUNTU 14.04 dist-upgrade
...onths ago. Today I made a "dd" copy to another harddisk and tried to dist-upgrade. I get "Illegal instruction (core dumped)" running "service asterisk debug" at random places. Any help will be appreciated to spot this problem. I think it is worth to mention that the dadhi hardware is not present at the copied system. regards Ethy

chan_dahdi refuses to build
Using asterisk 1.6.2.1 and dahdi 2.2.0.2. dadhi-linux installed just fine. Using dahdi_dummy as there is no card in system. Did not install libpri, again, no card. When compiling asterisk, I include -with-dahdi and everything ./configure's fine but when I do 'make', everything goes fine but chan_dahdi doesn't get compiled. No er...

No CDR with originate from manager and then an redirect to a dial from manager
Hi, The ami manager call out with an originate through dadhi to a local number (A). If this call is answered, then the ami manager redirect this call to a dial command. This dial command calls through dadhi to another local number (B). Number B answers this call and number A en B are connected. If number B and number A hangs up, there is will be no CDR be wr...

DAHDI 2.4.0 produces HDLC errors with echo canceler
...pan 1 These errors prevented calls from being made and received on my PRI spans. This seems similar to bug 15498: https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=15498 Which says this was fixed in 2.2...so maybe it got back into 2.4? I can get rid of the errors by disabling the mg2 echo canceler in /etc/dadhi/system.conf. The PRI card I'm using is a Digium TE122. I'd prefer not having to run with the echo canceler off of course... queue member invalid
Hi, I'm using asterisk version 1.8.3.3. In earlier versions I used queues, but with the new version the queuing mechanism doesn't work If I look in the CLI at I see that the queue-member is invalid: Members: DADHI/g3/0655871460 (Invalid) has taken no calls yet The queues.conf looks like this: [general] persistentmembers = yes monitor-type = MixMonitor [test] musicclass => default strategy => rrmemory member => DADHI/g3/0655871460 timeout => 60 retry => 1 maxlen => 5 If already...

maximizing sound quality in 10.0
...with this and get good throughputs using SLIN44 formats on SIP. The 2 questions I have are: 1. Is Slin44 the format I should be settling on or has someone found a combination they find preferable? 2. While the SIP connections sound good, I still have to "talk" through OBI110 DADHI devices and other UUCM type connections - any pointers for juicing up the sound there? Problem with DAHDI and OSLEC integration.
Hi List. I've bought a new server for my home asterisk installation and I'm trying to install asterisk with dahdi drivers and OSLEC. To do that I've got the svn dahdi-linux trunk revision 5366 and the echo subproject from the 2.6.28-rc6 Linux kernel sources. As reported in the dadhi README file I've uncommented out the two OSLEC related lines at Kbuild file in the dahdi-linux/drivers/dahdi folder. I don't know if there is a bug in the Kbuild trunk revision or if I did something wrong, but I was not able to successfully build the dahdi_echocan_oslec.ko until I've ch...

FAX reliability
...roduce a consistent audio stream on transmit, even though it usually receives OK. I suspected Digium might have finally done something about this, as they are releasing a FAX module similar to app_fax. It looks like they have. In chan_dahdi.c there is now code that extends the buffering inside dadhi when a FAX is detected, and puts the buffering back to normal at the end. This isn't really a cure - its more of a bandaid. However, I expect it has the desired effect if they have put it into the trunk code. You need to enable this feature in chan_dahdi.conf. The current default chan_dahdi...

Meetmee user introduction disabled
...nce, user introduction disabled (is chan_dahdi loaded?) [May 27 09:26:51] WARNING[2407]: app_meetme.c:3646 find_conf: No DAHDI channel available for conference, conference recording disabled (is chan_dahdi loaded?) The conference itself seems to work. The box does not have any special hardware so dadhi is only needed for timing and as I understood for conference mixing. As part of the update I also updated the dadhi modules and the kernel (all with "yum update"): kmod-dahdi-linux-2.3.0.1-1_centos5.2.6.18_194.3.1.el5 kmod-dahdi-linux-2.2.1-1_centos5.2.6.18_164.11.1.el5 First I noted th...

Updating Asterisk and its use with MySQL
...e of the official site of the project. I would like to update to one more newer version. I suppose that the recommendable thing is to maintain me in branch 1.4, reason why in this case it would be 1.4.30 that I suppose that it will have several bugs fixed. Also I see that there are new versions of DADHI Linux and DAHDI Tools; 2.2.1.1 for both cases. I image DAHDI Complete package include both DAHDI Linux an DAHDI tools. For this package it is necessary to continue making the compilation separately? But going to the question to that I make mention in subject, which would be the procedure to update...

tdm loosing interrupts and latency
...g, I seem to lose interrupts and get lots of messages in syslog from wctdm24xx saying missed interrupt increasing latency its out lined here (http://forums.digium.com/viewtopic.php?p=126997&highlight=&sid=9de59f41f1a93ee8701b28fdd0cf6073) Seems like the driver (and this is in zaptel & dadhi code), increases latency by +1 until 30. and then the card seems to not work. In my case I have seen latency increase from 8m (I have this as a starting point in the module load) up to 17ms usually around here the fxs and fxo ports stop working ..... I have to unload and then reload the module. bum...
