Getent passwd doesn't show Domain Members
...a Debian 4.8 with samba 4.2 packages... A few months ago I installed a test environement for samba with samba version 4.1.17. There the getent command works perfectly. So I guess this is a bug in the latest version... Can I report this bug somewhere or is there a workaround? managesieve daemon
Hi, I am currently working on a managesieve daemon, so that I can use the squirrelmail plugin avelsieve together with dovecot-lda. Without this I can't migrate from cyrus to dovecot. For several reasons I don't use the timsieved from cyrus and build it from scratch. Is this interesting for somebody else? Gerald

Well, thank you for your support. I guess you can't tell when debian will release new packages? I think we'll work with the 4.2.10 (4.2.11) packages until debian releases the new version :) Kind regards Timo Dachs-Wegmann -EDV- -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: samba [mailto:samba-bounces at lists.samba.org] Im Auftrag von Rowland penny Gesendet: Mittwoch, 20. Is this a bug? Having cex!=1 before setting par(mai=) gives strange line spacings.

Enable Recycling
So I've added the following information to my smb.conf in the general section based off various information on the internet, but primarily from here: http://timtrott.co.uk/enabling-recycle-bin-functionality-samba/ Nonetheless when I delete files from any shares they are not sent to Recycling. What am I missing? # Enable Recycling vfs objects = full_audit recycle recycle:repository =

where is subscribed list stored?
I'm using $ /usr/sbin/dovecot --version 2.0.15 on $ cat /etc/fedora-release Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) and version 8 of Thunderbird. I use dovecot locally for internal only access to my email archives, of which I have many gigs of email archives. Over time I end up subscribing to a couple dozen different IMAP email folders. Problem is that periodically my list of subscribed folders

Problem with sink() in 1.20 on Windows (PR#779)
When I use sink(filename) to save the results of the run, the file does not seem to be closed or released back to the OS after I issue the "sink()" command. Here is a baby example: sink("test.txt") tdta <- data.frame(x = x <- 0:10,y = 2 * x + rnorm(11)) print(summary(lm(y ~ x, data=tdta))) sink() At this point (even after refreshing the Explorer window) the filesize

Re: some problems with windows(rescale=) (PR#794)
Part 1) is basically that the initial rescaling is done if the window is too large to fit on the screen. That's true and obvious (no scrollbars) and intentional and on the help page. As ever, you need to report bugs on what is documented, not what you would like. This will be changed for 1.2.1, but was several hours' work. I have also cleaned up the scrollbar behaviour. Part 2) I just

Subsetting to unique values
I want to take the first row of each unique ID value from a data frame. For instance > ddTable <- data.frame(Id=c(1,1,2,2),name=c("Paul","Joe","Bob","Larry")) I want a dataset that is Id Name 1 Paul 2 Bob > unique(ddTable) Will give me all 4 rows, and > unique(ddTable$Id) Will give me c(1,2), but not accompanied by the name column.
