Playback of sound files but no sound
Hello, I'm running asterisk-1.0.6 on a centos3.4 box. I'm still in testing phase and so far everything is running smoothly. I'm now trying to play a soundfile or an mp3file using 'MP3Player', 'Playback' or the 'Background' commands, but don't get any sound. The logfile says: -- Executing BackGround("SIP/joa-9def", "tt-weasels") in

still some moh troubles
Hi, After following the suggestions on the mailing lists and the wiki I'm still experiencing choppy moh. The song plays but with frequent noise parts. - I'm using asterisk 1.2.4 on our production server and 1.2.7 on the test server. - native moh with .gsm and .pcm formats (according to http://astrecipes.net/?n=152) - compiled ztdummy as a timing source any pointers on how to dig deeper

[ronvdaal@zarathustra.linux666.com: Possible security issue with FreeBSD 5.4 jailing and BPF]
...tcpdump - -i fxp0 The P_JAILED flag is set. Conclusion: Usage of devfs rulesets is highly recommended as stated in the manpages. Though a misconfiguration at this point would expose a big security issue. The question is: should bpfopen() in bpf.c check for a jailed proc or not? Grt, Ron van Daal

SIP rogue channel
...ension that always replies busy is the last one, 756. I've tried removing the extensions and I think reloading asterisk will be the only solution to reset the channel. Is there another way to clear this channel or maybe there's another cause for the problem? kind regards, Bart Bart van Daal Network Operations Van Landeghemstraat 20 9100 SINT-NIKLAAS b.vandaal@edpnet.net www.edpnet.be T +32 (0)3 265 67 00 F +32 (0)3 265 67 01
