It is an HP d530 SFF workstation (model DG784A) with 4GiB of RAM. It
has run for years on the lenny xen + linux stack. If my notes are
correct, it also ran smoothly for about a year with the lenny hypervisor
+ kernel and the squeeze userland.
Rebooting into squeeze xen + linux makes the machine very crashy. The...

Hi
I have read various info, and mailing list archives, but have not found
an answer to the following.
I have a few servers with configurations similar to the following:
They each have multiple uplinks to the Internet, and a sample config is
as follows:
eth1 is 192.168.0.1, connected to 192.168.0.2
eth2 is 192.168.1.1, connected to 192.168.1.2
My default route looks like:

how do i get rid of this blasted echo !!!

I have 2 TDM400P's, 2 asterisk servers (running on powerful boxes with FC1
and * v CVS 1.0.02), and 4 analogue PSTN lines from BT and whatever I do, I
cannot get rid of this damn local echo. Ive tried setting the echoTraining,
echoCancel (in phone.conf and Zapata.conf) , echocancelwhenbridged to every
possible combination , Ive even tried running the fxotune

i'd like to know if it would be possible with asterisk (and which
hardware would i need) to implement the following (or is it not possible
with asterisk - but possible with ...)
I'd like to set up something like a "Mobile to Conventionel Network
Gateway" - so that users (with there Mobile Phone) which are registered
(known Call Number) can Call a Conventionel Network

How 'bout PAM? /usr/ports/security/pam_ldap. If you have machines that
can't do PAM, perhaps NIS is the way to go (assuming, of course, you're
behind a firewall). You can store login information in LDAP like you want,
then use a home-grown script to extract the information to a NIS map. Or,
if you have a Solaris 8 machine lying around, you can cut out the middle
step and use
