...e possible to rely only on VM restoration in case of a problem (physical server broken, wrong manipulation on AD LDAP…)? I have read https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Backup_and_restore_an_Samba_AD_DC, but it is still noted as a draft. I have also read https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/d2cae85b-41ac-497f-8cd1-5fbaa6740ff and it seems that the problems, when restoring a VM backup, comes only from replication between DC.
