Sorry for my very lame english :) I from Russia...
I have correct smb.conf for cyrrilic symbols in filenames... it work with
all version of samba exlude 2.1.0prealpha :(((
Linux - RedHat 6.0 (kernel 2.2.10 compiled with smp)
1) in smb.conf :
client code page = 866
character set = koi8-r
... check /etc/codepages/codepage.866 - Ok...
2) smbclient //localhost/test -U test

Localization?
Hi everybody!
I started using Wine only a few weeks ago and even managed to achieve some success. I'm running a windows program,some kind of medical assistant software.It is using it's own local database, and everithing is stored in files so there is no problem with that.The program works, but I've experienced big trouble getting it to show correctly the cyrrillic symbols. ...en i trying write cyrillic character in wine applications there are
errors like:
err:keyboard:X11DRV_ToUnicodeEx Please report: no char for keysym 06D7

this pair line appears for each time when i input cyrrilic character
it recognize correct scan code
but character output is blank
Where can i find couse to fix?
