Hi Richard
I have been working at trying to get cyrus to listen on 148.197.29.5
interface instead of the localhost - I have failed
Whenever I add things to /etc/cyrus.conf such as
imaps cmd="imapd -s" listen="[148.197.29.5]:imaps" prefork=1
[root at maui:~]$ service cyrus-imapd restart
[root at maui:~]$ ps -ef|grep cyr

getting duplicated rows in the results. How to avoid this happening without
using the unique() function?

Odd Samba behavior using Windows XP client API RemoveDirectory function
I'm having problems with a utility I wrote deleting folders from a
Thecus N4100 Samba based fileserver. I do not have access or control
over its Samba config file and this may not be a Samba problem but
perhaps someone here can point me in the right direction???
When I issue a Windows API RemoveDirectory function against an empty
folder residing on a Samba share, the function returns with a

Compiling speex for DSP TI C6713
Dear all,
I have been using Speex during last year over PC with very good results. Now I'm trying to move my code to the DSP TI C6713.
It's the first time I work with a DSP and with Code Composer. I use speex quite well but I'm not very good at compiling for different platforms. After reading all manuals I tried to compile the speex library with Code Composer and the speex options for

can I rotate a matrix
useR's,
I want to be able to rotate a matrix 90 degrees, clockwise. For example,
> mat
[,1] [,2] [,3]
[,1] 1 2 1
[,2] 3 2 6
[,3] 4 5 3
I want to rotate it, so that it looks like this...
[,1] [,2] [,3]
[,1] 4 3 1
[,2] 5 2 2
[,3] 3 6 1
Does anyone know a quick and straightforward way to do this?
Thanks in advance.

re placing values in a matrix
useR's,
Consider:
y <- c(20, 25, 30)
> m <- matrix(c(0.0,1,NA,0.5,1.25,0.75, 0.5, NA,
> NA),byrow=TRUE,nrow=3,ncol=3)
> m
[,1] [,2] [,3]
[1,] 0.0 1.00 NA
[2,] 0.5 1.25 0.75
[3,] 0.5 NA NA
For each numeric value, I want to replace them with their corresponding
y-value. The result should look like (here, each row represents a variable
rather than the columns):

how well will this work
Hi Folks,
I find myself trying to expand a 2-node high-availability cluster from
to a 4-node cluster. I'm running Xen virtualization, and currently
using DRBD to mirror data, and pacemaker to failover cleanly.
The thing is, I'm trying to add 2 nodes to the cluster, and DRBD doesn't
scale. Also, as a function of rackspace limits, and the hardware at
hand, I can't separate

How to make performance test in samba4
Hi everybody,
I have several VMs running on Xenserver 6.5
I have 2 samba servers (1 DC & 1 Fileserver). They are both running Debian
Linux 8.2 Jessie.
I'm using the samba debian package (4.1.17)
My VM has 8G RAM and 4 vCPU
How can i test if the performances are quite good or not? with
reading/writing
Could I have better performance with the latest samba release?
thanks

glusterfs over rdma ... not.
OK - finished some tests over tcp and ironed out a lot of problems.
rdma is next; should be snap now....
[I must admit that this is my 1st foray into the land of IB, so some
of the following may be obvious to a non-naive admin..]
except that while I can create and start the volume with rdma as
transport:
