multicastRTp
I am using a cyberdata "sip paging adapter" and with the
Dial(MulticastRTP/basic/IP:port) and with
tshark I see the RTP data, my device looks like its accepting the data
and I hear a click for my relay on my device so it would seem its accepting
the call,
however - I hear no audio...

Is there an affordable HW solution to do a door phone on *?
I do not mind using the solder iron to modify an existing door box.
Thank you!

Asterisk room monitor
I want to use a voip speaker phone as a room monitor. Requirements:
A phone that I can set to auto answer in speaker mode.
A phone with a good speaker phone.
Ability to make the audio one way. I want to monitor the room but not
have my voice heard in the room. Yes, the mute button can accomplish

Avaya 9608G and DHCP and TFTP and HTTP oh my
Right-- I've seen the Avaya document you cite below. It says "To administer DHCP option 242, make a copy of an existing option 176" but I don't have any example of option 176 or 242 to copy, and don't know what to do to /etc/dhcpd.conf to make it offer option 242.
Then there's this long table of parameters to use with (presumably) option 242.

Door Contacts via Asterisk?
Hi all,
I have had (what I consider) an odd request. The installation I'm working on
now is an office on a multi-floor building. They 're looking for some kind
of solution with the phone system to provide door control. We are a
non-profit so of course I'm looking for something VERY inexpensive.
I'm sure /someone/ has done something like this. I'd appreciate any ideas.
