Scripting port scans
Hi,
I need to test one specific port on a serie of Ip addresses that I own,
I thought about using nmap or telnet, but both return the same value, no
matter if the port is open or filtered.
Anyone has an idea, before I start scripting to analyse the output of
the command?

Ugo

condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

(Centos 4.4, Centos 4.3 and Red Hat 3).

even for people who would normally have used Windows or OSX on the hosting
previously, are now looking at using CentOS. And I thought it would be nice to
have a section on the wiki about exactly why that is.
Not having any direct connection with the hosting business I was wondering if
