seeking help on using LARS package
Hi,
I am writing to seek some guidance regarding using Lasso regression with the
R package LARS. I have introductory statistics background but I am trying to
learn more. Right now I am trying to duplicate the results in a paper for
shRNA prediction "An accurate and interpretable model for siRNA efficacy
prediction, Jean-Philippe Vert et. al, Bioinformatics" for a Bioinformatics

Asterisk 1.2.6 on Solaris 8?
Hi,
I am trying to get Asterisk 1.2.6 to run on Solaris 8 (sparc). I was
able to get it to compile, but when I try to start asterisk
(./asterisk -cvg from /opt/asterisk/usr/sbin), I get the following
error:

Error with repeat lines() in function
I have a function that does some plotting. I then add lines to the
plot. If executed one line at a time, there is not a problem. If I
execute the function, though, I get:
Error in ans[[1]] : subscript out of bounds
This always occurs after the second lines command, and doesn't happen
with all of my data points (some do not have errors). Any ideas?
