C API: How to get a seektable for very long files?

half-baked adhoc "standard" that causes more problems than it solves. For
example I had not even considered the idea of using multiple files.
On the topic of seeking, it is also a problem for my specific use case. I
am interested in digital signals (teletext) hidden in analog video (CVBS
samples), and they just aren't sequential in the same way that audio and
video usually are. I need to seek to an arbitrary video line as fast as
possible, preferably in constant time. A line is usually 2048 samples but
can vary between 1000 and 3000 samples long (always fixed size within a

No, seeking to a specific sample can take a while because of all the

DNAT + Masq Problem - Yes I read the FAQ I promise
I have a debian woody machine acting as a firewall for a small
network. I am trying to do a simple DNAT to port 80 on the protected
webserver and masquerade all traffic from the protect subnet outbound.
After having read the FAQ and various posts regarding problems with
DNAT I''m afraid I''m no closer to a solution. Based on the output from
"shorewall show nat" I

CH7007A (AKA CH7006) TV OUT Support for NV11 (NVidia GeForce2 Go Dell I8K Laptop)
After analyzing verbose nouveau & drm dmesg, I have found seemingly no more
useful details pertaining to having no TV-1 device. The TV-1 device might be
getting lost within DRM, by setting the TV-1 (SVIDEO, Composite) device into
DPMS mode or Full Power Down mode, and the ch7006 datasheet does say in this
mode, all but the i2c circuits are disabled! Looking at
