Firewalling multiple FreeSwan connections
Hi all!
I have got a vpn connection set up using FreeSwan and shorewall.
Everything works fine but I want to add another subnet to the whole. This
means that 1 box will get two net-to-net connections.
I want to limit the services on one subnet however. Cuurently I have
defined a vpn zone for the current connection and allow all vpn<->loc
traffic.
How would I go about in tightening the rope for this other connection?

interface which would simplify the situation if a just ass...

does the guest have a snapshot ?
Hi,
i'm cuurently a bit confused if a guest does have a valid snapshot or not.
This is the xml:
...
<disk type='file' device='disk'>
<driver name='qemu' type='qcow2'/>
<source file='/var/lib/libvirt/images/crispor_1604/crispor_1604.sn'/>...

preserving Mac OS X metadata in rsync backups and restores
...rd disks formatted in XFS and configured in
software RAID to store the actual backup data. (As I understand, I
should use XFS rather than ext3 because XFS supports extended
attributes large enough to hold also larger converted Mac resource
forks.)
* Back up from different Mac OS X clients (cuurently all on 10.4, but
I might upgrade them to 10.5 later) to the server using rsync over
ssh. This should hopefully preserve (most of) the Mac-specifif
metadata on the server. (Actually I plan to use rsnapshot, but I
believe if I have rsync installed in the newest version and possibly
tell rsn...

swapped mouse buttons and slow down in wine
...here in wine, even regedit and
winecfg now behave this way (slow and inverted mouse). I could prehaps
get used to the mouse being backwards but the performance is too painful.
New versions of wine don't seem to support a wine.config file, but the
config file had more configurability than is cuurently supported in
winecfg. So how do you config the latest version of wine? What could
have changed in wines configuration to make this happen?
Anyone have a links for info on how wine (post the shift to no config
file) now works?
I've been looking on my web without joy for a solution to this pr...

This sounds like a very interesting proposal. Many compilers clone
loops and use dynamic checks to enforce invariants in one copy of the
loop. Is this intended to be similar to that style of approach?

FW: making BDC samba + ldap server

In my hint I think your samba PDC/Ldap is cuurently working well!
First of all install a second machine with the samba and ldap.
Do not start samba, do not start ldap.
The ldap database should be nearly empty ex:/var/lib/ldap
Now copy your smb.conf to your new machine ex: scp root at 2machine
:/etc/samba
Edit the smb.conf to your needs and adjust i...

This sounds like a great idea. LLVM definitely lacks some
profile-driven optimizations.
