pvSCSI question - can a gref describe more than one page?
...es are like "nobody uses this anymore". D''oh.) The big complication appears to be that pvSCSI seems to think that an individual sg element can span a page, and so has to muck around splitting it into page-sized chunks. My assumption is that this is because the code in pvSCSI was cut&pasted from somewhere else. Can a single grant entry ever describe more than one page? [Qemu-devel] [PATCH v2 00/11] qemu: use virtio linux headers in portable code
...D headers outside Linux is encouraged. And it's clearly nonsensical to claim the GPL on kernel headers means that userspace needs to be GPL. So please ignore this licensing red-herring. And we'll bikeshed the headers in the standard when we have to :) They certainly don't need to be cut&paste into the kernel sources. Cheers, Rusty.

Recommended tool for migrating IMAP servers
...s: >> UW-IMAP's mailutil, imapsync, YippieMove and Larch. Whatever you use, *don't* use UW-IMAP's mailutil unless you got lots of time to kill. It is dreadfully slow -- I used it to export some of my users' mailboxes to Gmail or other remote mail servers, and I could almost cut&paste the messages faster. Like Aki said, if you have the same mailbox format and FS access on both sides, rsync is much simpler. You can also try exporting the old mailboxes via NFS, and with some artful symlinks, march through your user mailboxes replacing the symlinks with the instantiated...

Passdb disconnected unexpectedly when trying to do Director with LMTP
Hi there, I'm running Dovecot 2.0.16 just set up the director with cut&paste from the wiki. It's working & running fine for pop/imap connections (as verified by doveadm director status user), however when I specify 'RCPT TO' for a (tcp) lmtp connection straight away I get: 451 4.3.0 <xxx at yyy.com> Temporary user lookup failure and in t...

Looking into man1/doveadm-move.1, I see .B doveadm move \-u jane Archive/2011/09 mailbox INBOX BEFORE \(rs .B 2011-10-01 SINCE 01-Sep-2011 so it's a problem with my nroff, not dovecot's man pages. Instead of getting something to cut&paste, you would be much more enriched if the problematic code and the resulting errors were shown for examination.

I have tried it, but I always end up with some kind of error. Can you explain how can I get a function type for function which returns void (nothing) and it's arguments are (int, int, int, void *, void *, ...) ?? Thanks in advance. UK Asterisk user, please pick up the white courtesy phone
So, I have submitted my configurations as public samples, and I should have expected this situation to arise. I changed all the relevant "private" configuration data in my samples to obfuscate or alter IP addresses, passwords, etc. However, I left my email address in voicemail.conf... Let me tell you, it took THREE messages sent by a distinctly British-sounding gentleman leaving
