This would work pretty easily as long as both machines are in the same
timezone.. If not, start grepping for "Timezone is" also. ;)
This looks like a good feature for inclusion into smbclient.

Anyone have smbmount binary for linux 2.1?
RH 5/glibc or the linux 2.1.89 kernel have bad headers, because I can not
compile smbmount without major header conflicts. (Although samba goes
fine..)
Does anyone have binaries out there? The only ones I ever see are for 2.0
kernels.
