regular expression question
can someone show me how to use a regular expression to break the string at the bottom up into its three components : (-0.791,-0.263] (-38,-1.24] (0.96,2.43] I tried to use strplit because of my regexpitis ( it's not curable. i've been to many doctors all over NYC. they tell me there's no cure ) but it doesn't work because there also dots inside the brackets. Thanks. (-0.791,-0.263].(-38,-1.24].(0.96,2.43]

Running Pegasus Mail v4.21c under Linux via WINE v20050830 issues
..., the email opens behind the new mail window which must be minimised to see the mail. 2. When exiting or closing the Pegasus mail window, the window stops responding, and must be closed with alt F4 or killed. This is not the case when - Z 128 is not used, leading me to think that this may be curable somehow. (I have only been using linux for 4 days and wine for 2 days). If you have any insight into the two issues, then please respond. Regards Kevin

cbind() & rbind() for S4 objects -- 'Matrix' package changes
As some of you may have seen / heard in the past, it is not possible to make cbind() and rbind() into proper S4 generic functions, since their first formal argument is '...'. [ BTW: S3-methods for these of course only dispatch on the first argument which is also not really satisfactory in the context of many possible matrix classes.] For this reason, after quite some discussion on
