Cups and Samba Access Denied
I purchased the Samba 3.0 book and it has gotten me pretty far but I finally had to go to the mailing list for this problem. Linux workstation can't print to Samba printserver
I'm trying to configure a Linux workstation to print to my Samba printserver and can't figure out what I'm missing. Both are running CUPS. Windows clients print fine to the Samba box. Any ideas?

How to delte a printer
Hello, how can I delete a printer and it's driver completely out of samba? 1. Removing the entry out of smb.conf and reload samba. 2. Remove the driver over the windows serversettings dialog. But then there is a "printing/printer-name.tdb" left in the lock directory. Can I just delete this file? And how can I remove the corresponding entries out of ntprinters.tdb. And is there

BIG Samba howto for debian only.

smbldap-tools problem
hey , I installed smbldap tools for have sync linux and win passwd, and it worked. But today i did some modifies to the script smbldap-passwd and it doesn't work. I'm using wine v1.0 rc2 under debian lenny. My CUPS printer (Brother HL2030) works with no problems under linux. I've been trying to get printing from wine working without success. Printing problem with CUPS / Samba

Samba + cups not working (intermittently)
