Samba connection issues
...metimes it does not come back normal.
I know we should upgrade Samba, but beyond that we are curious as to why this just started to happen (also why it's not happening everywhere since all our sites are essentially exactly the same).
Given the problem, we're not even sure Samba is a "culprint" or a "victim".
Any tips at what to start looking at would be appreciated.

[Bug 760] New: nf_ct_sip dropping SIP messages larger then MTU

I suspect the following change to be the culprint:
http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/1106.0/00275.html
If the patch above is using data length on the TCP fragment and not the the
complete sip packet, the code is wrong. Note that SIP RFC 3261 explicitly
tells you to use TCP when sending messages over MTU (1500 bytes).

The USB tablet could be a culprint, as could the choice of video mode.
I'd suggest that you want to install the QXL video driver, and setup
SPICE instead of VNC, along with the SPICE guest agent. This gives a
much better performing graphics layer, and better performing mouse.
instead of the USB tablet which is known to have hig...
