Aggregate rows to see the number of occurences
...rs twice, (7,0)
appears once). Something cool would be to have this value in a third
column...
I've been looking at aggregate() but either I couldn't get the right
parameters, or this is not the right tool to use...
Thank's for any help !

Problem with par("usr")
....432 0.568 1.432
What can I change in order to have this "usr" argument working ?
The aim of all this is to be able to superpose two plots where xlim and
ylim arguments are not sufficient for having the same scalings...
Thanks for your help.

...a principal component analysis (with robusts methods).
News of version 0.7-1: a new method of clustering "optimal partiton"
A major advantage of the method is that the number K of classes
is computed from the data, and ONLY from the data.

Problem with data frame
Dear r-users,
suppose I have n normal distributions with parameter N(0,i) i=1,2,.......,n
respectively.
Now I want to generate 500 random number for each distribution. And want to
put all 500*n random numbers
in a single data frame.
I tried with following code:
>n=20
random = data.frame(n)
for ( i in 2: length)
{
random[,i] = random(500,mean=0,sd=i)
}
but while executing this I

My question is adressed to both of you, so I choose R-help to post it.
Are there any plans to jazz up the main R website : http://www.r-project.org
The look it have now is the same for a long time and kind of sad
