PJSIP_DIAL_CONTACTS and Queues
Is there a solution to dial multiple contacts for a Queue agent?
Since the pandemic started many of our customers have begun to move
agents off site. Since most of them were using softphones we did not
have any problems but now we have one case where the agents have a desk
phone in their cubicle and are using a softphone from home. For regular
calls there is no problem as

Updating passwords
I created some new users in my MySQL database using postfoxadmin. The passwords looked correct in the database and show the right prefix {SHA256-CRYPT} but logins were failing, so I manually created new passwords from the command line:
doveadm pw -s SHA256-CRYPT -p ?a password" -u kremels at kreme.com
{SHA256-CRYPT}$5$ZKsovTv0Ddc9k4?
I then went into the postfix database and manually

Off-site cloud backup (eg Amazon S3, Wasabi)
I?d like to synchronise our mail store to an Amazon S3 bucket or similar, for protection from ransomware.
Server is running on macOS with maildir.
Should I use a Dovecot process, rsync, a Mac app like Arq or Jungle Disk, or something else?
Anyone have experience or opinions on this?
Thanks,
James.

UID order vs date order
Hi
i have recently moved a mailbox to dovecot and intend to use it via imap
and i have run into a problem.
when i imported the mails apparently the UID order got reversed compared
to the date order, result is that some clients like on android devices
download the oldest mails instead of newest.
it is not so interesting to have several years old mail show up at the
top of the mailbox.

Transfer only, no outbound calling
OK, it's been a while since I drank from the pool of wisdom hear on the
list.
After cracking my head against the wall for a few days trying to figure
this out, I have decided to swallow my pride and take the drink.
So, on to my question:
I have some agents/operators setup in sip.conf which point to a context
where I have just about disabled outbound calls (only specific numbers can

Best Wireless bridge for Polycoms
Hi,
I'm stuck doing an install with Polycoms at a small office with no RJ-45.
They went wireless 100%, poor them. I insist on using Polycom unless it's
impossible because that's what I am standardized on for many reasons.
What's the best way/device to turn a wired Polycom 501 (or any Polycom for
that matter) into a WiFi phone?

[LLVMdev] llvm.org outage
Dear LLVMers,
There is some scheduled network outages detailed below that affect the llvm.org servers and LLVM Mailing lists. The LLVM server is housed on the fourth floor. I am not sure which rooms house the mailing list servers. All times are Central Standard Time.
If someone from Illinois can distill the relevant parts of this message for LLVM users, I would be most appreciative. I am out

Is Rails Appropriate for our Project?
I realize this subject is redundant for this community, but I''m hoping
the Rails community can provide me with some additional ammunition to
help push a rails project I''m pitching over the proverbial tipping point
at my company.
The Situation:
I''m the lead architect at a large bay area retailer. My team and I are

How Secure Is Asterisk
I am sure this has been discussed prior, however, I am sitting here and
being asked this very question by my superiors. They are loving what I have
done with our two Asterisk servers here; however, they keep asking me if it
is secure or not. Of course, as with anything, I suspect that on a secure
network they can be reasonably safe. However, realistically if I am using
the asterisk server to
