libusb drops connection to my Tripp Lite SMART500T1U
...oblem though. I may tweak
the code a bit and see if I can get better results. Although you are
right about the broken pipe. If the device is "unplugging" ... not
much you can do to fix that other than to just ignore it.

Multiple instances of the same model, with same ID and no serial number!

Can anyone think of a clever way to make this work? The only thing
that really defines these as different is the /dev/bus/usb value. So
I would need some way of telling NUT to "fake it". :-)

I was following on my raspberry pi with raspbian os.
i have an error, when i run " sudo ln -s /usr/bin/autom4te
/usr/local/bin/autom4te " i have this error messagge " ln: failed to
create symbolic link `/usr/local/bin/autom4te': File exists ".
Sorry but i'm not an expert as you....
How can i fix it?

...to be some speculation (or perhaps you know for a
fact) that the Tripp Lite actually includes a serial to USB converter
inside of the device. I have a stockpile of these awaiting
deployment. Maybe I will open one and look inside.
