Update csgfs without breaking things
Now that the csgfs repo has been updated to support the new kernel, I'm looking at doing updates again. I just want to do it without breaking things (if possible). I can handle doing a bit of trial and error, but I figure that if you guys can point out any obvious pitfalls, that can save me quite a bit of time....

Sync of csgfs and current centos 4 updates
Hi list, I've been trying to update my csgfs stuff to 4.7 this week but I notice that current csgfs is built against kernel-2.6.9-78.0.1 and is required as a dependence, right now current kernel is 2.6.9-78.0.5 it would be great if csgfs can be rebuilt or updated to this, so dependences works ok??? Best regards

CSGFS repository not up-to-date?
Let me QUICKLY say I'm not complaining here, but is the csgfs repository not being actively maintained? The Red Hat ftp site has much newer versions available than what is currently in the CentOS csgfs repo, at least for the kernel modules. Should I just go ahead and rebuild them from the SRPMs myself, or is this an unintended condition? This has been ho...

Kernel update and csgfs
My apologies if this is a stupid question, but I'm not familiar with how kernel updates and kernel modules interact. I see that there are some kernel updates available via yum: ============================================================================ = Package Arch Version Repository Size

more than one repo with --disablerepo
What's the correct syntax for something like the following: yum check-update --disablerepo=dag ivazquez Extras Misc this runs "dead" and doesn't do a check-update. Use kommas? Something else? man just tells to use glob exp, but what about multiple repo's? Kai -- Kai Sch?tzl, Berlin, Germany Get your web at Conactive Internet Services: http://www.conactive.com

csgfs update for 4.5
Anybody here know when there is going to be an update for the cluster packages for the 2.6.9-55.0.2 kernel that was released in June? The packages available from the repo are compiled against 2.6.8-55. I want to update my GFS cluster to CentOS 4.5, but I don't want to do such a major upgrade and leave out the kernel packages. -- Bowie

csgfs packages
Hi, is there anything happening to the csgfs repo ? The packages in there are extremely old. At least for CentOS 4.5 Kernels there should be an update. I would like to help package them if possible. I use them in production and need up to date packages so I can update to 4.5. There's already a bug report (#0002017): http://bugs.cento...
