Included is an updated patch against Flac 1.1.1. Although I can not be certain, I believe that it will function under Linux as well as Darwin. By default, the asm versions of the functions are disabled. Sorry that it has been a while since the last altivec patch. I have noticed something interesting, and so it remains unfinished... On the ppc, even with the altivec optimizations, almost a quarter of the time is spent in FLAC__stream_encoder_process().
