...for detecting non-convergence and enforcing half-duplex in that case, but I'd like to better than that if I can. I initially assumed that the echo suppressor is similar to other echo suppressors (also called "nonlinear processors" or "loss controls"). Those suppressors use cruder algorithms that exhibit artifacts but that may not depend on the fine time structure of the audio signals. Is this not true of the preprocessor echo suppressor? -mjc -----Original Message----- From: Jean-Marc Valin [mailto:jean-marc.valin@usherbrooke.ca] Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2007 8:49 PM To:...

Fwd: [show-in-a-box] Re: Ogg
Hello, Does anyone know the answer to this question below? (Note... they're calling the Theora codec "Ogg" below. I know technically it's not correct... but that's what some are calling it.) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Enric <enric.media@gmail.com> Date: Aug 19, 2007 10:13 AM Subject: [show-in-a-box] Re: Ogg To: show-in-a-box@googlegroups.com A

smarter sparse files?
...bytes starting at a given offset should no longer be considered part of the file and the associated blocks given back to the file system's freelist. I realize that this might not be possible currently if the chunk you wish to free is not aligned with the start of a block etc. etc. A "cruder" interface, just giving whole disk blocks back would be acceptable, though. Your comments would be much appreciated, Rasmus Munk Larsen, Stanford University.

[LLVMdev] [LNT] Question about results reliability in LNT infrustructure

Right. But this way you will have 10-commits delay. So, you will need 3-4 additional test runs to pinpoint the offending commit in the worst case. > This is why I proposed something like

[lattice] display a projected map on a layerplot
...rigued by ggplot/ggmap). Particularly, I am able to overlay my plots with maps, which is essential for the sort of work I'm doing. However I'm currently unable to use lattice::layerplot for some regional data projected LCC: the data plots, but I cannot get a map to overlay. I can do this by cruder means, but would prefer to know how to do this in lattice/rasterVis or similar (or ggplot/ggmap). Two nearly-self-contained examples follow. The data, ozone_lcc.nc, comes with CRAN package=M3 ... except that M3 supplies it as system.file("extdata/ozone_lcc.ncf", package="M3")...

Residual Echo Suppression by the Preprocessor
What is the current status of the residual echo suppressor in the preprocessor? I ask this because I have occasional problems with the AEC, in which it fails to cancel echo. I think the problems have to do with samples being dropped by the audio IO system, which is effectively impossible to detect and counteract reliably. A colleague recommended using an echo suppression technique (which he

weights in lm, glm (PR#9023)
Full_Name: James Signorovitch Version: 2.2.1 OS: WinXP Submission from: (NULL) (134.174.182.203) In the code below, fn1() and fn2() fail with the messages given in the comments. Strangely, fn2() fails for all data sets I've tried except for those with 100 rows. The same errors occur if glm() is used in place of lm(), or if R 2.1.1 is used on a unix system. Thanks for looking into this.

poisson fit for histogram
I haven't been an R lister for a bit, but I hope to enlist someone's help here. I think this is a simple question, so I hope the answer is not much trouble. Can you please respond directly to this email address in addition to the list (if responding to the list is warranted)? I have a histogram and I want to see if the data fit a Poisson distribution. How do I do this? It is

I will be unsubscribing
Greetings all, As you have noticed, I have been largely absent from the wxruby team for quite a while now. Fortunately, others have taken charge and continued to move wxruby forward. It''s still a great project, but I just can''t participate right now. I will be unsubscribing from both the dev and users mailing lists in a couple days. Because I will be packing for a long trip
