multipath show config different in CentOS 7?
...mes, the first one with the default built-in values (eg "no_path_retry fail") and at the end the customized one. So it is not clear what is the actual configuration that device mapper multipath is using... The last wins? Is this expected behaviour? In that case what command can I use to crosscheck it (apart from real testing that is anyway necessary to verify too)? Eg in CentOS 7.3 I'm using device-mapper-multipath-0.4.9-99.el7_3.1.x86_64 while on CentOS 6.8 I'm using device-mapper-multipath-0.4.9-93.el6.x86_64 Thanks in advance, Gianluca

creating a new vecotr in a for loop
I have consulted the intro and nabble but have not found an answer to what should be a simple question, here goes: I am doing a crosscheck of a data frame and pulling out a single value based on an inputted value ie based on x i will select y, or if x =2 then my code returns 7. x y 1 4 2 7 3 10 4 2 My code currently iterates through for as many times as the length of the x dataframe. What i would like to do is then is...

...sockets FALSE FALSE FALSE FALSE FALSE FALSE TRUE TRUE libxml fifo cledit iconv NLS profmem cairo TRUE TRUE TRUE TRUE TRUE FALSE FALSE I already have R on another machine with jpeg/png capabilities, also compiled on my own. I crosschecked the versions of the libpng-* and libjpeg-* packages installed there and could not find any difference. Also returning to R-3.0.2 doesn't work. A last thing: The same question came up back in 2009, but there was no answer on the list.. https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2009-December/222967...

Problems with metaMDS from vegan
...be an array of at least two dimensions. Execution stopped ) This error is not appearing on identical data when using my older installation. The only relevant googled mentioning of that error points to a surplus (0,0) entry in the matrix to be processed, but this is definitely not the case here. I crosschecked with *identical* data sets on the mentioned systems. Following are my (rather small) processing program and a (small cut of a) matrix that produces the error, but runs smoothly on the older version mentioned: R batch script: #### library(vegan) simitab <- read.table("r.csv", heade...

Cannot ping DomU from Dom0 / cannot ping same site from two DomUs at the same time
...e time only that DomU pings successfully where I started the ping first, the other DomU fails. If one DomU pings www.slashdot.org an other other pings www.suse.com both pings work fine. Ping also works fine, when I ping any other host in my LAN from both DomU''s. This one puzzles mee too. I crosschecked and can ping from any other pair of my machines to the outside without problems. Hi all, I've looked through the archives and I can't seem to find a solution, so here's my problem. I have three Win2k clients and one Samba server which I set up as a PDC (or at least I thought so.) I tried to start both calls with 75% (=57 of 75) good data-points. I crosschecked the results with the MCD implementation in MATLAB by Verboven and Hubert. This functions give the same results as cov.mcd (MASS). If somebody knows, why the results do not match, although both functions are implementation referring to the same estimator, please tell me. Thanks, Rainer -- 1...
