Daft question: howto downgrade?
Hi
Can anyone point me to a howto on downgrading. Just upgraded to 1.1.15 and spore don't work anymore. Gave crosover a try and the did nothing.
Is there an easy way to go back to 1.1.12 or to run both versions?
Regards

Rsync speed over network.
...g mail servers so I must copy /var/spool/mail/ over to the
other machine.
I understand and have used locally the copy methods(manpage is good) but
I need to ask what will be the fstest possible way to copy over the data
from one machine to the other
I have setup two gigabit ethernet cards with a crosover cable and used a
private ip address range (10.0.0.1) between them so security is not an
issue.
I have about 80 000 mailfiles giving a total of about 50Gigs, obviousely
downtime has to be kept to a minnimum.

Speed tests
...ctory)
All test were done with the same set of files that I put in a special
directory for the test
there are 4593 files in the dir with a total size of 3.3G
All tests were done from the same two machines in the same direction,I
just changed the options
It was done on two Gigabit nic's with a crosover cable so network usage
and speed were effectively
not a factor.
I also tested tar but that took to long
scp failed misserably
I didn't test ftp at all as I cannot see that it will be faster

treatment effect at specific time point within mixedeffects model
Hi David:
In looking at your original post it is a bit difficult to ascertain
exactly what your null hypothesis was. That is, you want to assess
whether there is a treatment effect at time 3, but compared to what. I
think your second post clears this up. You should refer to pages 224-
225 of Pinhiero and Bates for your answer. This shows how to specify
contrasts.
