Change order of columns in table?
I'm an R noob and have a (maybe) stupid question...
I have a table where I have the weekdays and a number for each weekday of
entries:
Thats what the table looks like...
Now I want to have an pie3D plot of this, but obviously the order of the
weekdays are not as one would expect...

samba-tool domain backup offline fails.
Hello all,
Hoping I never have to restore it, I'm trying to do an offline backup of my
domain. On a DC I "croned" /usr/bin/samba-tool domain backup offline
--targetdir=/usr/local/backups/samba
The backup systematically fails leaving a folder
INCOMPLETEsambabackupfileXXXXX with a small .tar inside.
If I run it "by hand", I get the same result. The (what I think is the)
relevant part of the erro...

Unusual Crashes in winbind
So far we have been working well for a week now. We are using Samba 3.02a on
suse 9. Authentication is against an win3k AD. Apart from a Kerberos ticket
expiring, (a croned restart fixes this) we have one new problem
We found we needed an additional AD server as the primary begun to fail on a
regular basis. So we added one. Now this new server grabs the authentication
requests before the old one and when it does that winbind crashes out with
the following log message...

OpenSSH too many files open
My company is running OpenSSH 2.5.1 (via inetd) and over time it appears
that OpenSSH sessions are not being properly terminated on the server. The
basic symptom is that thousands of files are opened and not being let go of
as users close them, eventually taking us to the 4000 open file limit.
I have seen on some online man pages with an IdleTimeout option, although it
does not appear to work for

update of current quota usage
...a usage
is NOT updated automatically by dovecot.
For example I copy some mailboxes to my server, then the current quota
for this mailboxes is still zero.
Is it correct that dovecot can't do this for me?
If yes, it seems I have to write my own (simple) update script and run
it sometimes croned (because I don't really trust the actual quota
implementation) and/or I have to update the current quota usage each
time I perform actions myself.
This "workaround" is easy by using a DB storage, but what about other
implementations?
Wouldn't it be nice if dovecot could do...

Capturing credentials for imap sync
Hi List
All the imap sync apps I could find requires the username /password
credentails to be known before a sync occurs. I have Dovecot using ldap
acting as a nearline backup mail server to MS Exchange. Every hour
imapsync syncs mail between Exchange and Dovecot. This all works fine
becuase the users credentials are known, but when new users are added I
would like the process to work

mdraid strange surprises...
...on both servers
a few block_mismatch... 1976162368 on the used one and a tiny bit less
on the other...? That seems a tiny little bit high...
I do the whole repair+recheck and it is back to zero.
For brand new arrays, I am not very happy about the way mdraid
seems to function (with the manual/croned checks, repairs, checks,
checks, repairs, checks...)
I will have to see next week how high the mismatches reach...
Since my desktop is a RAID1 mdraid on 2 disks, I decided to have a look for
fun...? Apart from some low count mismatches, I did not have many problems...
Did the whole check+repa...

Shorewall stops after about 36 hours
I don''t know what is happening, but every 36 hours or so I''ll go to ssh into
my server and find that I can''t connect on any of the outside services. I
then can connect into the box using a serial connection and find that
shorewall reports that it is not running and the iptables are in some kind
of default state which looks nothing like what I set it up with shorewall

Lost my Samba PDC, trying to rebuild
...e, running on Fedora 12.
I got it working previously through a bit of trial and error, and then
bug fixes to Amahi. Friday I lost my drive and did not have backups of
my smb.conf, or my profile directories for my roaming profiles, or most
of my data. I had a rsync kind or written, but had not croned it yet....
So the rebuild is well underway. It looks like my server is set. So
'key' lines in smb.conf are:
workgroup = HOME
server string = home.htt
netbios name = hda
add machine script = /usr/sbin/useradd -d /dev/null -g 99 -s /bin/false
-M %u
so I added my first computer into the...

Samba Replication
Hello, I have the following situation:
I have two offices, which both require local speed access to their file
shares. Currently there is a single windows server that provides network
shares to both offices, the remote one through a vpn.
I have used Samba since the early days, and am quite familiar with it's
capabilities and limitations, however I have never tried to perform
replication with

SV: handling spam from gmail.
I know it is not dovecot who should fix this. But anyone using dovecot
is using an MTA, and receiving spam ;) I know how to look at email
headers. Spf and dkim is not solving anything here.

Terrible exported resources performance
...128 + 1MB per node, and then double it for good measure) puppetdb
still runs out of memory. I set it to 1GB and puppedb just crashed again
(I''ve got dumps). Trying with 2GB now. I haven''t fiddled with thread
settings, but my puppet agents aren''t deamonized or ''croned'', I run them
using mcollective or manually. So there''s only a single puppet agent
running during this test, on the core nagios server. It seems that there''s
a ruby process taking 100% of one core during this run and nothing else
"dramatic" seems to be happen...

Re:Problems in Dead Gateway Detection / Failover - MultipleISP Links
Hi There,
I am also trying to do the same for my network.
I have two links from different ISPs and I want to configure a failover and
load balancing Linux router.
I am facing same problem here, that how to detect link failure and let Linux
box switch the gateway.
I know it works when the first gateway is physically down and not reachable.
But what to do if my link is up but there is problem
