Problem with recommended files
...rror: This R is version 1.3.0
package 'MASS' depends on R 1.4.0. I am a little confused. I can run R
--version and get version 1.4.0 so I wouldn't think I would get this
error while running R CMD INSTALL VR-6.2-13.tar.gz. If I remember the
docs right the recommended packages are not critcal to using R so I will
go ahead and work with R and not worry to much about it. I hope this
message helps you though.
Thank You,

contribution, rpm packaging
...ld and functionality is tested on redhat-7.2 on i686.
The build requires the libogg-devel and xmms-devel packages to be
installed.
The build produces three packages: flac, flac-devel and flac-xmms. nasm
support is not built.
Questions
---------
I saw that there are some asm code for preformance critcal things. Does
binaries built on for example i686 contain instructions that are
incompatible with the i386?

Pulling in broadwell support for cent6u5
Thanks much for the the reply!
Some sec updates/bug fixes have been applied thru the run of 6u5 and after,
but yes, still firmly in 6u5 land. Guess will have to test.
Broadwell cpus do run in the OS, but "6u5" is stated as not supporting
26XXv4 chipsets.

I would think that a customer who had data stolen or was somehow hurt by
an entity who purposely ran servers that came into contact with the
internet and also purposely ran software that had CRITCAL and
correctable security flaws present would be very upset. I would also
think that they would expect an entity to install every security update
to protect their data .. But what do I know.
Thanks,
