Printing Postscript - Very Weird Problem.

Any idea how to fix this? What could be the problem? How to figure out
what could be causing it? It's a very good printer which has no other
faults, and it's printing the above characters very crisply... (not that
it matter seeing as they are bad...).

The difference between Features and Inputs has been on my list of
stuff to look into for a while. When I started hacking this driver, I
didn't understand the difference, that one is for polled data and the
other for interrupted data. The USB specification is not very crisply
written when it comes to this point. When I finally understood the
difference, I had no more energy to program.
If I remember correctly, the report buffer does not handle Features
and Inputs correctly. Technically, Inputs don't need to be buffered,

8.2 behaving weird on openSuSE 10.3 & 11.0

I installed 8.2 on opensuse 10.3 from the opensuse XGL repository to replace
7.6. Compiz works with the nvidia 8600 GT card (512M of GDDR3) on the box, but
the ctrl+alt <- -> switching behavior is really bad.
In 7.6, the ctrl+alt <- -> desktop switching changed desktops crisply with
just the slightest hint of the cube detected during the very short and nice
switch.
In 8.2, the cube hangs fully visible on the desktop for a 1/2 msec or so
before settling into the full screen view of the selected desktop. I have
adjusted all the timings and zooms individually and canno...
