VncHeadlessInstall
I just read the http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall, and it was easy to follow and worked like a charm, I wasn't aware of the anaconda stuff... And a suggestion: could the fact that the netboot iso is just 9 megs big be emphasise... and maybee link to http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreateLocalRepos as a tips to save bandwith net installs? /Mats

Wiki error
I was following instructions in the wiki here http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreateLocalMirror to create a local mirror for testing VMs instead of hitting the public mirrors. However, I could not mount the NFS share in the guest. Error logged on the host was: request to export an unmounted filesystem: /share After some googling, I found this discussion http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/for...

Mirroring centos.org
Hello, I would like to mirror the centos.org repository for an offline network. I don't need the ISO images, don't need any i386 stuff, and I think I probably don't need any of the source code rpms either. Most of the clients are CentOS 6.x, so I don't want to download the CentOS 7.x tree yet either (that will come soon, but separately from this one). I tried using this command,

Doing a Centos mirror only via http
Hi all, Is it possible to setup a private local CentOS mirror only for the latest release (http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/) via http only?? I know how to do using rsync, but I need to accomplish this via http service only ... Thanks.

update of rpm directory
Hi! I have an directory full with rpms that are installed on some machines.. what is the best way to update those rpms to the latest version? are there more optimal approaches then searching for each rpm names in an update repo and download one by one?
