plyr: set '.progress' argument to default to "text"
...uot;text" to all the apply functions in 'plyr'. For example, current default is daply(..., .progress = "none"). I would like to set it to daply(..., .progress = "text"), so as to avoid writing the argument every time I call such a function. I looked into ?daply and ?create_progress_bar without much luck. Pretty printing progress
I have a function that is an iterative process for estimating some MLEs. I want to print some progress to screen as the process iterates. I would like to try and line things up nicely in the R window, but am not sure the best way to do this. Below is a toy example.
