can syslinux display ethnic characters?
Hi, I am working on a norwegian linux distro. As far as I know syslinux can't display any characters that is not in the us ascii table. is there a way to load a different ascii table? Tor H?kon Gjerde

Display borked when loading FONT
Hello, I am a happy user of syslinux since 3.x. I've been able to load a font to display French accented charecters since then, but it not the case anymore, as problems have started to raise with syslinux 5.x. program : EXTLINUX, ISOLINUX (same behaviour) In extlinux.conf, the culprit is : FONT=lat9w16 This font is taken from 'kbd' package, named lat9w-16.psfu. ...sed like that. It says the file or directory doesn't exist (and it has a point). I have seen this on both Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 Server. Interestingly enough there are no problems with Windows XP, as long as I use codepage=cp850 to mount with. I have tried these codepages: cp437, cp850, cp865, cp1250, cp1251, utf8 I even tried 'latin1' just to see what would happen. I guess there is something that should be changed on the Windows machine for this to work? If so does anyone know what that would be?
