select with country names
Hi,
I need to create a list of coutries in a driop down.
I''m aware of a function ''country_options_for_select'' however this jsut
seems to output a string of all countires.
How can I get this list in a drop down?
Thanks
scott

Distances between countries package?
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a package that would take "CountryName1" and
"CountryName2" as input and spit out the distance (approximate)
between the two countires. Does something like that exist?
I don't have R experience, so making one myself is out of the question...
Thanks in advance!

LMER: How to specify Random Effects
I saw different specifications for Random Effects and I'm confused about
the use of "/" and the use of "(0+...|)" .
Let say we have a nested structure where some countries have some
several plants in different states and we measure the reaction to a drug.
The list of Countries = USA, France, Italy
The States for USA = Michigan, Florida, California
