...ta set according to dates specified in a vector. I have created a blank matrix with row names (dates) that I want to extract from the full data set. I have then performed a merge to try to o/p rows corresponding to common dates to a results matrix, but the operation did not fill the results matrix. Coulc anyone offer any advice to assist with this operation? ...und like something is wrong with the inetd.conf? If that was the case, why would starting it manually still not work at all? Any help is greatly appreciated as I just want to get this damn thing working the way its supposed to be. Thanks in advance, AA P.S. Im still relatively new to linux, so it coulc just be that Im not getting something....I had the same problem when I initially installed tho, I tried running the smbd and nmbd from inetd.conf and samba didnt work till I decided to sart them from a script instead....it just seems to be something more here since that doesnt work. _____________...
