Pb with password
...assword.
I belive the problem is coming from the PAM functionnality, an especially the
file "/etc/pam.d/sshd". I am right ?
If yes (and also if NO ) please can somebedy tell my the solution, and
eventually send me the correct version of the file "/etc/pam.d/sshd"

client cannot join correctly enough to samba-server

Je suis confront? au probl?me suivant
configuration
1 server Wk23 as domain-server
1 server samba 3.0.24
client XP-PRO
Samba server is supposed to be only file-server (and http server), just as member of the domain, because w2k3 is the domain-server
sentence "net rpc join -U xcoudin%mypassword" worked correctly, samba-machine answered that it successfuly joined the domain. And I can observe that the samba-computer is automatically added in the list of computers of the domain in Active-Directory of W2k3 server.

changing hostname of the client ? (without un-joining)

local-hostname
- if already joined to a domain, must dialog with the server to adjust
its name in the Active-Directory
Does any tool exist in the samba project that can dialog with the server
to dynamically change the hostname on both side (client + server) ?
