adding lines to stripchart
I have two points of collection across 20 subjects (pre and post for each),
so 20 pairs of data points. I would like to plot the actual raw data points
for each subject for both pre and post and connect lines between these two
points (20 in all) to depict real change between the two timepoints.
I have tried using stripchart which adequately plots the two lines of
subject data points. Attempting

tessellation from biological data in spatstat
Hi,
I'm new to this mailing list so apologies if this is too basic. I have
confocal images 512x512 from which I have extracted x,y positions of the
coordiates of labelled cells exported from ImageJ as a.csv file. I also
have images that define an underlying pattern in the tissue defined as
areas of different pixel values 0 or 255 (also 512x512) I've exported
these images as .txt files. I'd like to use spatstat to look at how the
individual ce...

Unit of cellsize in 'ascgen' from adehabitatMR? Spatialpoints unit?
Hello dear all,
A simple understanding question but I cannot find the answer anywhere.
I use coordiates (longitude, latitude) in my study. I created a
SpatialPoints class from those data and then I created a grid using the
'ascgen' command in the package 'adehabitatMR' like:
ascgen(xy,cellsize=40).
It worked out fine and my analysis is doing great. But I don't know what

Text
Hello,
I would like to place some text that should appear in the same position
of the graphic device, preferably outside the plotting area, regardless
the x and y axes limits. How can I do this?
Best,
Dani

...of `labels'. Again, this may
reflect a difference between S and R. The S manual states that `text'
is a character vector to be plotted and `at' is an optional vector of
positions. However, the R help states that `text' is a character
string and `at' gives the location in user coordiates. This can be
overcome by plotting `labels[i]' at `at[i]' within a loop.
