Changing coordenates
Hi everybody:
Does anyone know how I can change geodesic coordenates into UTM ones?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation,
Jimmy M.

conversion of LL coordenates to UTM problems (ED50-WGS84 format)
...tr(my.dataframe, "zone") <- 30
my.dataframe<-as.PolySet(my.dataframe)
my.dataframeUL<-convUL(my.dataframe)
obtaining the UTM coordinates. But when I plot them in the polygon region, points seem to be badly located.
I suspect it is due to the ED50 UTM of the polygon versus WGS84 coordenates of the points. If this is the problem, is there a way to convert them into the same format? It it is not the problem, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Berta.

Surface Graphic
Hello list!
I have a problem with the function 'persp'. I have a data set with the
variables
X -> The X coordenate of the insect
Y -> The Y coordenate of the insect
deep-> how deep the insect buried into the soil.
I would like to have a plot with a surface simulating the way the insect
buried. Is it possible? If I type
persp(x,y,deep)
R gives me this error message
Error in persp.default(X, Y, deep) :...

help with spatstat ppp transformation data
...tors x and y are not of equal length
So, I checked the manuals, the R book and also the summary of the
'japanesepines' file, to know how to make the .txt table, for the data to be
already read as ppp class, but it doesn´t result neither. I made a table
with a "w" column with the coordenates written (0,40,0,0,80), another column
"n" with the number of individuals, and the columns "x" and "y" with the
coordinates. But it doesn´t work. I am not using any mask
I'd really appreciate if you can help me solving this problem, that for sure
is not complicate...
