Workarounds for Splinter Cell: Conviction
Hi I've been able to get Splinter Cell: Conviction running quite smooth on my system, and I just want to share with any others what I had to do to get it all working. A few days ago, I submitted a testreport in AppDB, but it was rejected with the info that I was testing a patched version of wine. Which is true, because vanilla wine just crashes...

Resuming the discussion of establishing an LLVM code of conduct
...force its own standards, and in doing so be guided by the core principle of respect, and not by a list of prohibited behaviors. I believe that it will behoove each member treat others with respect and to oppose unacceptable actions. When the enforcement of such standards comes from the genuine conviction, and not simply from a document, it strenghtens the community as a whole. Pointing to a document only invites searching for potential loopholes. -Krzysztof -- Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. is a member of Code Aurora Forum, hosted by The Linux Foundation

We can and could say Person A is not welcome; at minimum, all of Person A's communications should be moderated. 2) Person A has multiple convictions for sexual assault or other violent crime. Person A does not get to attend LLVM events. 3) Person A (an existing LLVM contributor) takes a technical discussion from LLVM with Person B into an alternate channel so as to personally attack person B without being subject to CoC. Workaround does...

Rd files with "%" (was: permuting dimensions)
Professor Ripley thanks for this. Very much appreciated. The original subject line reflected my late-night conviction that the answer might involve passing a strange list to do.call(). Anyway, package magic is broken (only in R-devel, I might add) because I have a function called "%eq%". R-2.0.0 CMD check is stopping (I think) because it interprets the "%" as a control character. Does...

Microsoft RTAudio

I couldn't find any sample clips of RTAudio encoded speech. Apart from being $35000 less
