Range plots (lattice or base?)
...quite a
while for me to modify the bwplot code to get what I want and create a
new graph type, assuming I could get it to work at all. Does anyone know
of an easier way to get what I want, with and example? Lattice, grid,
base, whatever, I don't especially care what tools I need to use. My
only constrante is that I feed it the values required as a dataframe
rather than calculate it on the fly so if we change our minds about UCL
method or percentiles there is no problem.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

R for arma mdel with constraints on parameters
...[t-p] + e[t] + b[1]e[t-1] + ... + b[q]e[t-q]
but in my recent data model, i met a problem. In the ARMA model, p and q are fixed, but there are some constraints in the parameters a[i] and b[j], such as for some i (i<p), a[i]=0. my problem is how to get these parameters' estimation for these constrants with arima() function? or i need to write functions to realize it.

table relationships
is it correct that even if the database doesn''t support or tables were not
configured for Foreign Keys and / constrants , that you can still manage the
relations using Rails, using model methods like, "belong_to", "has_one", and
"has_many"?
TIA
Stuart
