Need help with streaming to Icecast
Hi, I am having problems with sending a video stream to Icecast server. On the icecast management platform my stream is being considered as an audio stream?? and I am unable to play it I am with no ideas on how to solve this. Am I doing something wrong? "Process R is not running" on emacs 21.2.1 using ESS 5.3.0 and R2.3.0 on Mac OSX 10.4.6
...uot; message. I upgraded ess to the latest version 5.3.0 (in case it had sth to do with it), but it did not help. I also ran emacs as root (an old message in the list suggested that this helped, albeit in a different setup), but the result was the same. Any suggestions? ctv, install.views, install.packages (& update.packages)
Dear all, Wouldn't it be helpful if the install.views install.packages update.packages had a "downloadonly=TRUE" flag which would allow us to download the packages and install them later (or put them in a USB stick and take them for installation on anothe PC). I am behind a firewall (Bank) and I have serious plroblem updating R or installing views (Finance, Econometrics etc.

Overplotting: plot() invocation looks ugly ... suggestions?
