What I think is best for Asterisk implementation is for Digium to sell a
motherboard. No, seriously. Find a ECS or Abit or ASUS mobo that
consitiently yields 100% or 99.9999% and white-box it as a barebones kit
with a TXXX card. Sell it as a case, good PSU, mobo, and TXXX card - you add
your own RAM, NIC, CPU & HDD. Would you buy one for $699? I probably would.

conntrack related dropped packets or HTB issues on 2.6.11?
Hi All,
I''m looking for some comments on an issue that I''d had since the start of the
week.
In short the problem appears to potentially be an overwhelming of the
conntrack tables, where connection state is lost and packets dropped.
A combination of using htb & U32 QOS to clamp the smtp traffic to 128kb on a
512kb sync line, some sizeable bulk emails sent from the

Asterisk on Soekris
I thought I saw a Soekris embedded in the Digium booth photos, can you run
Asterisk on one of these? How? I'd be interested in it for a back pbx, given
the reliability. In fact, might want to move my home pbx to this also.
