Multilevel in R
...are level 2 variables.
but during third iteration it stop because there is a singular matrix in solve.
I stopped it after two iterations, however the results are not correct.
How can I fit this data? Are there other functions that I can use?
I would be thankfull for all the insights.

Diagnostic in multilevel models
...dinal response variable nested in 17 stations.
I would like to know how I can obtain elements of diagnostic checks about these models in order to choose best model.
I use summary(), but can I use other functions like in lme, for example anova?
I would be thankfull for all the insights.

Problems with the "tseries" package
Dear Sirs,
I am trying to perform a garch analysis to some data time series. Therefore, I've downloaded the package "tseries", as the garch analysis is not available in the main R program. When I try to load the "tseries package" from the R-Console screen, the following message appears:
local({pkg <- select.list(sort(.packages(all.available = TRUE)))
+ if(nchar(pkg))
