3COM NBX SuperStack 3
Hi,
I've looked pretty wide on Google for this so I don't think it's been
asked before. Has anyone had experience integrating Asterisk with a 3COM
NBX system? The only way that I can see that looks possible is via the
3Com NBX ConneXtions H.323 product and then one of the H.323 Asterisk
channels.
Has anyone done this? Any pointers as to what to avoid or whether to
even attempt it?
I would much prefer a SIP solution to the NBX but this does not appear
to exist. Has anyone found such a solution?
Thanks in advance

Ruby on Rails w/Dreamhost - routes problem...I think.
I am trying to deploy my first app on Dreamhost using Ruby on Rails. I
followed the wiki, but I think I am missing something. I think it may
be in my RoR code, but I am not sure.
My app runs fine when run as
http://localhost:3000/AddPatientVisit/addvisits
AddPatientVisit is the controller and addvisits is the form that posts
back to the controller.
I got rid of the index.html in public

Ticking sound in wildcard tdm400p
Hi,
My wildcard TDM 400P's FXS port(connexts to a analog phone) has ticking
noise recently.
Dialing completlyfails because of this. The only thing still working is
generating rings when
being dialed.
I have followed http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Hardware .
and make sure wctdm is not shareing interrupt with any other devices.
I even run " /sbin/hdparm -u1 /dev/hda1" to avoid

Again: Re: MSN keeps disconnecting with load balancing (fwd)
...lease them from the ISP. boo. this will
ofcourse still bring the content all down one pipe still... upstream load
balancing restored, downstream still skewed....
OR break the clients into two groups, those using pipe1 by default, those
using pipe2 by default when talking to MSN. As long as both connextions
stay up no one complains, if one goes down, half of them complain ''i got
logged off''.
Im sure you can rig a proxy on each upstream feed that conducts the signin
process for them everytime. so much work...
oh well best of luck.

SNOM 200 behind NAT and other xmas woes
I decided to give the whole family IP phones for christmas,
all hooked into my asterisk server, so all the nephews can
have their own lines.
However, one of the phones I got was the SNOM 200. That's worked
fine for me on my own network, but I'm having bad luck getting
it to work behind NAT talking to Asterisk. It talks to my
termination/origination provider, which seems to ruthlessly

PCI modems
Hi all,
I'm currently searching for a PCI modem that will be used to receive faxes. I've tried out a few modems but they all use conexant chipsets, which need out-of-tree kernel drivers and currently doesn't work here (kernel oops when the installation script modprobes the driver).
Does anyone know of a PCI modem that works out of the box with in-tree kernel drivers?
Thanks,
