[my concept is to collect file totals into access time slots (e.g (0-3), (3-6), (6-12), (12-36), 36 + month slots) per user and dump this data to file for collection by a tool to then deliver it to RRDTool for pretty graphs].

FW: smbd *not* breaking hard links when saving files
..., this old behaviour enabled my rather nice hard link copy (cheap!) local
backup.
The question is, is the old type of behaviour still available? (config option,
compile option etc.)

Shared maildirs with symlinking
Hello,
I try to set up a shared maildir with symbolink links, but it doesn't
work.
The main user, from which I would share a mailbox, creates a mailbox
named "Commun" with thunderbird.
I see on the file system from the server that a directory .Commun is
created in his ~/Maildir/ and that the file ~/Maildir/.subscriptions has
now such an entry. Right.
