The driver is called "sql". See

Dovecot Proxy
...; ;-)
Sorry, that I read the wiki1 instead of wiki2. I thought the 1 means
that it is server one of ... my fault. Also not reading the first line
above the menu. My focus was really on the content. ;-)
Also my problem with the doc of Dovecot2 proxy is, that the document
https://doc.dovecot.org/configuration_manual/authentication/proxies/ has
less details for a domain only example. That works as in the Dovecot1
doc, but it isn't documented anymore. Also the location under
"authentication" chapter in the Wiki didn't tell me, that this is the
"new Dovecot proxy documentation". I...

That looks like what I want, but once I've enabled the plugin how would I actually tell dovcot to process a mailbox "Test" with the sieve script "new.sieve"?
That seems tone missing from the link above.

encrypted storage on the fly using user's password without storing password on the server
Hi all,
I just joined the list. I've read through the mail-crypt plugin docs
here https://doc.dovecot.org/configuration_manual/mail_crypt_plugin/
I'm still unclear (I'm not an expert) about the following: Is it
possible to obtain on-the-fly encrypted storage using the user's
password without the password being stored on the server? Basically a
zero-knowledge solution.
Theoretically this should be possible...

Sieve junks mail script creating links
My Junk mailbox is still filling up with hard linked emails. There are some junk mails with over 3000 hard linked files and over half a million files in the .Junk/cur folder.
I had a handy script to remove them all by doing a find for inodes and sorting the list by age and keeping the olds hard link and removing all the others, but I now can?t find it :/ so I have just taken to periodically

My query? Is dovecot not getting this field automatically?

Mailcrypt plugin private password
Do I have to replace the "password" part with the actual password or can I just copy it like that?
Will dovecot create the keypair automatically or do I have to use doveadm?

Dovecot - mail_crypt - lmtp-server - no password to decrypt the key
I have been using postfix+dovecot successfully for a while now until I
tried mail crypt plugin lately. I tried what is describe here

went for global-keys as described here:

Spam Blocking by filtering on username / id
This is probably quite an easy question, but I haven't been able to find the answer. I'm running a server where all the email addresses are in the format "user at domain.com". I've noticed that a large number of fake login attempts use the format "user" eg. reception, service, root, admin.
Is it possible to prevent any such logins to these email users without an

Dovecot's userdb / authdb allows you to return a "user" field, which sets a
new username for dovecot to use.
Depending on what you use as your authentication backend, you may be able to
do the transformation at that layer.
