rbind.data.frame: character comverted to factor
Dear All,
on rbind:ing together a number of data.frames, I found that
character variables are converted into factors. Since this
occurred for a data identifier, it was a little inconvenient
and, to me, unexpected. (The help page explains the
general procedure used. I also found that on forming
a data frame, character variables are converted to factors.
The help page on read.table has the

[LLVMdev] gerate LLVM IR from an AST output from ANTLR
Hi,
I am a complete newbie to LLVM. I have an ANTLR parser, that outputs an
AST. I want to comvert this AST to a LLVM IR, Can someone point me some
relevant documentation/examples/ etc. on how to go about doing this?
TIA.

parsing problem
Hi all,
I am trying to parse a vector for caliculating minimum in that vector the
vector having values like
1 Kontrolle
2 Placebo
3 125mg/kg
4 250mg/kg
5 500mg/kg
6 1000mg/kg
hear i tries for comverting it into numeric with using "as.numaric()"
function
but i got values like
5
6
2
3
4
1
it gives 1000mg/kg is the least one
but i have toget 125mg/kg as the minimum value
for that i have to remove all the strings and spetial charecters from that
for that i used "parse()"...

Re: tick tick tick
Well I've comverted to UDP but still have the tick and it can't be the
diff soundcards cause it does it on the same computer. Also the wave out
buffer keeps growing as if extra data is comming from somewhere eg: the
wave out plays just as fast as the wave in so the wave out buffer should
not "grow".

openldap PDC : can't add machine account ; "too many domain info entries"
I've ereditated this quite messy openldap server from the previous
administrator, samba (3) relies on it for acting as a PDC.
The main problem (while I build a new directory from scratch) is you
can't add a machine account to the domain :
On the client it says the credentials are invalid, anyway the real
problem (from samba logs) seems to be :
"Got too many (2) domain info entries

[LLVMdev] gerate LLVM IR from an AST output from ANTLR
Thanks. So, in this tutorial, the LLVM IR generation code is embedded in
the parser. I already have an AST, and if I dont want to touch the parser
code, is there a way to generate the IR? or do I just walk the tree and
generate the iR?

ISDN, CISCO and SCCP call forwarding
Hi,
I need to set up call forwarding from the operator to one of our
internal numbers.
Asterisk get the incoming call and Operator A or B answer to the call.
Then he/she should redirect the call to any of our internal numbers or
an internal group.
I'm using CISCO 7912 fot the client and two CISCO 7960 for the operator
all with chan_sccp.
How can I make it possible?
Thanks in advance to

busy tones
Hi
When I call a phone with CAPI if the phone available I hear ringing ok
but if the phone is busy I don't hear anything at all.
Also, when I call a mobile phone and it is turned off I don't hear the
operator voice answer me telling me that the request phone is turned off
or unavailable.
Any ideas?

avm c2 correct configuration for two p2p lines
I have an asterisk box connected to two isdn lines via an AVM c2 card,
the ISDN boxes have the 0227006XXX and 0227007XXX numbers, and are
configured both p2p, with the first one as file-leader.
(I don't know if file-leader is the correct term, it's a literal
translation from the italian term "capofila", in other words
0227006XXX is our "real" number, and when the 2 B
