Questiosn about dbox
...and mdbox. In the case of
mdbox, we can configure rotation of files using /mdbox_rotate_size/ . We
would like to rotate daily, not based in size (our users ask us for
yesterday's backup). How can we accomplish this?
We have now 17.000.000 messages in our maildir, almost 1.5 TB (zlib
compresssion enabled). Our backup time with bacula is rather bad: 24
hours for a full backup, most of the time the backup is busy fstat'ing
all those little messages. We think that mdbox can help us in this. Does
anybody has good experiences migrating from maildir->mdox in "large"
enviromen...

Default compression level for -compress-debug-info=zlib?
Not really, as well as some sensitivity to the input data overall
performance of the link with compression will depend on how this is
implemented in lld - how is it parallelized? How is it chunked? Is it
effectively pipelined with IO?
Or, I wouldn't feel comfortable being able to make a recommendation to our
end-users on whether to use this option or not based on my existing

Mysql::Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
I have been very VERY frustrated for the past week trying to solve a

running against a remote MySQL server that was either 3.23 or 4.1
(4.1.15 to be exact--we finally matched them both up to make sure that
wasn''t the problem).
So I post it here (as

Default compression level for -compress-debug-info=zlib?

with debug info widely

Agreed.
> I think (1) is definitely the case, and that's also true for a
distributed build system with which a lot of object files are copied
between machines.
