Javascript compression / How to hook in to rails development
Hi there, I thought it''s rather neat to use the javascript compression from http://dojotoolkit.org/docs/compressor_system.html This removes javascript comments and renames variables and seems pretty reliable and effective. Merge, Compact Ofuscate or Compress Javascript Lib ?

Documentation generator?
I''m looking for a documentation generator for JavaScript code that can handle the coding style used in prototype.js and script.aculo.us. Any recommendations for such a tool? In a similar vein, does it make a noticeable difference in production when comments are removed and several script files are combined into a single one? Michael -- Michael Schuerig Most people

Scriptaculous + Prototype shrunk to < 50Kb

It''s "packed" so if you care about that kind of thing, it''s also "obfuscated". Download from my personal site at www.alistercameron.com. - Alister PS. Of course this is the current version as posted on the
